Boat Tour: Historic Lake Union
In 2012, MOHAI is moving to the historic Naval Reserve Building in Lake Union Park. Lake Union has had many names and many faces through time a Native lake, a homestead lake, an industrial lake, a recreation lake and many more. There is no better way to see Lake Union's history than from the water! MOHAI historian Dr. Lorraine McConaghy will guide you on a historic look at the Lake while you enjoy Seattle's summer sun and an afternoon cocktail from Argosy's cash bar. Please wear appropriate shoes for obstacles and steep surfaces while boarding the boat. Meet at AGC Marina, 1200 Westlake Ave. N. Plan to arrive early to find parking; there is a pay lot nearby. Boarding begins at 1:30 pm.
