BEING NAKED: A funny, unexpected and powerful theatre experience. A comedy that engages the audience and leads them on a shared journey, one that twists and turns in surprisingly moving ways. Following a striptease fail, an embarrassed amateur opens up about how and why she has arrived on this stage at this moment, attempting to take off her clothes. In front of strangers. A comic monologue becomes an even funnier dialogue with the woman's much younger drummer, and with the audience. In the end, what is revealed is a revelation for all.
Director Elizabeth Klob says, "This is a rare show it combines all of the elements I love in theatre; Being Naked tells a story, reveals something personal about the performer and engages the audience in an authentic way. It is titillating without being bawdy, and it makes me laugh out loud. Maria and I developed and I directed this show over 10 years ago, and it never ceases to put a smile on my face or excite me to come back and experience it again."
Each night the doors will open at 5:00pm for drinks at the bar to allow you to enjoy the amazing new Cafe Nordo Culinarium in Pioneer Square. Seating starts at 6pm, and the show will begin at 6:30. The show runs approximately 75-85 minutes with no intermission.
