7/25 - Currents w/ Sentinels & Sirona @ Heirloom Arts Theatre
HEIRLOOM ARTS THEATRE...

Saturday, July 25th
@ Heirloom Arts Theatre
155 Main St
Danbury, CT 06810

Currents (CT Metal)
Currents that brought speed and aggression on Victimized, it sees the band calming their rough waters with introspective and immersive emotional touches that allow the band to balance their uniquely heavy atmosphere with more accessible ethereal elements. Perhaps the most impressive part of the band's renovation is that it in no way impacted their desire to bring their music to the public--as Currents' work ethic in the studio is mirrored perfectly by their dazzling live performance and incessant event schedule. Between impeccable musicianship and dedication to heavy music fans around the world, there is no ocean too rough or storm too fierce to keep Currents from doing what they love.

Sentinels (NJ Metal)
At the end of the day, Sentinels do nothing but justice to a genre which is rapidly reaching its carrying capacity. There are more groovy, "djenty" deathcore bands popping up every day, such that it seems hard to differentiate between themthis is far from the case with Idylls. Sentinels use marvelous musicianship to paint a picture of a galactic chasm; a void that seems simultaneously too big and too beautiful to possibly fill. However, with brilliant, visceral vocals and poetic, bitter and misanthropic lyrics alike, this pit of perilous and punchy musicianship is carefully filled to the brim, packed with a poison that will take over the listener's mind and body, controlling their every thought and every move.

Sirona (NY Metal)
After releasing our singles, "Sineater" and "Unhallowed," Julian decided to part ways with the band due to personal problems. After a few months of trying to solidify a new lineup, we finally got a break. We came into contact with ex  Ascensions guitar player, Adam Konzen. Adam was immediately impressed with our sound and was interesting in jamming. He quickly asked ex  Ascensions vocalist, Matthew Locke, to fill our lead vocalist position. Since we were also out a bassist, Matt Locke introduced us to ex  Burn The Charts vocalist, Matthew Hill. Since we also wanted to incorporate clean vocals in our music, Matt Hill was the man to fill that roll.
