The Rise and Fall of the Monkey King
EXIT Stage Left San Francisco, CA
The Rise and Fall of The Monkey King, by Blair Gageloft will run August 4 through August 20 at the EXIT Stage Left.
With influences of Brecht, Butoh dance, and Shakespearean villians, the searing satire The Rise and Fall of the Monkey King tells the tale of a ruler gone mad, despised by his people, hellbent on invading other nations without provocation, driven by a PR machine that loves Neil Diamond.
Note: This play is not appropriate for children. Please do not bring infants to the show. The EXIT Stage Left is located 2 blocks west of the Powell BART station. There is attended parking at Eddy and Taylor streets or at 5th and Mission.
