Orchestra Seattle and the Seattle Chamber Singers, George Shangrow, Music Director, present a full season of exciting concerts beginning October 7 with Mendelssohn's "Elijah" and continuing with "Classical Triumvirate", music of Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, on November 4, Handel's "Messiah" December 2, Claudio Monteverdi's "1610 Vespers", December 17, Benjamin Britten's "War Requiem", February 10, "Magnificent Strings", music of Vaughan Williams, Mendelssohn, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky with Ronald and Roxanna Patterson on March 16, Franz Josef Haydn's "The Seasons" April 6, "Spring Baroque" May 4, concluding June 8 with Mahler, Kechley and Brahms for the Season Finale. Most concerts are on Sunday afternoons at Seattle's acoustically gorgeous First Free Methodist Church, 3200 Third Ave W. Please see our website (www.osscs.org) for details.
