The Fremont Tour, a playful walk through the neighborhood
Come and explore Fremont and learn about the amazing public art in this quirky Seattle neighborhood. We offer a little history, a little art, a little comedy improv and audience participation.
** The May 15th tour is a special tour set up for Giant Magnet performers and Ballard High School art & drama students. Enter the password for the special price when you are asked for the "discount code" and then click "Show discount prices." You'll see this when you begin your order. **
This is no boring historical lecture; we have fun telling you the stories behind the art, the artists, and the neighborhood. (We swear -- you couldn't make this stuff up!) Our tour guides combine theatrical fun and comedy improv, and encourage audience participation. We have fun, and we want you to have fun, too!
Our tour is an easy walking distance that's perfect for adults and families. It is one half-mile long and takes about 80 minutes.
Strollers are fine and the tour is wheelchair accessible, but we do walk up and down one steep hill.
Dress appropriately for the weather. The tour goes on rain or shine! (Wearing a silly hat helps to ensure sunshine, by the way.) Come and explore fun and funky Fremont with us!
