The Equal Justice Societyâs 2nd Annual Constance Baker Motley Civil Rights Fellowship Luncheon is on Tuesday, July 24, from 11-1:30 p.m. at the Empress of China Restaurant, 838 Grant Ave, San Francisco.
EJS established the Motley Fellowship to invigorate the next generation of progressive legal practitioners seeking to transform anti-discrimination law and policy. Proceeds from the luncheon will go towards supporting the 2007-08 fellowship.
The luncheon will feature a presentation on unconscious racial bias by Dr. Shakti Butler of World Trust Educational Services.
