The Third Thursday (Save Your Brain Fundraiser)
Don't you wanna save your brain? This coming Thursday you can do just that while laughing your ass off at Matt Pavich's "Third Thursday" stand-up comedy show at Eastville Comedy Club.
50% OF THE PROCEEDS from the show will go to Save Your Brain, an activist organization combining education and entertainment to raise awareness of the concussion issue in youth sports.
We are trying a new approach to teaching young athletes in an... attempt to SAVE THEIR FREAKIN BRAINS...But seriously, concussions are like Ron Burgandy, they're kind of a big deal. We want athletes to take an active approach in taking care of their most important organ, their brain.
Save Your Brain is also donating a portion of its revenue to research institutions like the SPORTS LEGACY INSTITUTE so that the people way smarter than us can find better ways to protect these kids.
