Creative Expression Mini Musical Workshop

Creative Expression (Mini Musical) (Ages 5-11) Tuesday & Thursday 2:00pm - 3:00pm
6 week session: June 21 -July 28 (No class 7/4)

In an atmosphere of play and discovery, children will explore their own unique talents to create a mini-musical from a story of their choosing. All children will be part of the full creative process in a non-competitive atmosphere, using a joyful approach to music and dance education. Past stories used have included The Three Little Pigs and How The Leopard Got His Spots.

Instructor: Glynis graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies with a concentration in Vocal Performance from CSU Sacramento. She is currently a soprano and vocal soloist in Schola Cantorum in Sacramento, and sings as a freelance musician all over the Sacramento area. She received the Downbeat College Music Award for Outstanding Performance with the Sacramento Sac state Jazz Singers. Glynis's bright and bubbly personality give her lessons a vibrant and exciting learning atmosphere.
