Starvation Heights Centennial "Last Gasp Tour"
Benefit for the Kitsap Regional Library Foundation: Enjoy an afternoon with acclaimed author, Gregg Olsen, as we revisit the home of Dr. Linda Hazzard. Tour her original 1911 residence; view the famous front room, living room, and infamous claw footed bathtub. Be careful, as we pass the ravine, on the way to what's left of her famous sanitarium deep in the woods.  This may well be the last time a tour will be available to the public on the "Hazzard" property before the woods reclaim history.  An event not to be missed!

Saturday Tour $50.00, includes:

Question: How many slots are available for this event before it sells out?
Answer: We have a total of 250 slots available and we currently at 50 sold. Question: Is a portion of the ticket price to either the VIP or afternoon tour tax deductible?
Answer: If you get something at the event you may not deduct that from your taxes, therefore, the VIP event you can deduct $100 because the food, drinks and gift bag, etc. equals $50.00. The Saturday event will not have food, etc., so you may deduct the $50.00 for the regualr tour. Thanks!
 
Question: Will books be availabe for purchase and will there be a chance to have Mr. Olsen sign them? Look forward to this event.
Answer: Yes, Barnes and Noble will be selling books at the event and Mr. Olsen will sign copies if people would like a signed copy. Special Centennial stickers will be on the book as well. Barnes and Noble will also be donating a percentage of book sales to the Library!
 
Question: Can I buy a ticket at the Grange on Saturday?
Answer: Yes, however you will be in the last group to board the buses for the tour.
 
Question: Is the tour during the day, or night?
Answer: day tour
 
Question: are there any tickets available for Sept. 3rd? or dates other than July 16th?
Answer: July 16th is our only tour.
 
Question: How can I get my child in with me if she does not have a photo ID?
Answer: As a guardian you can sign the waiver for your child.
 
Question: Can I bring my child if she does not have a photo ID?
Answer: I'd is not necessary. However, as a minor you will have to sign their waiver form. Thanks
 
Question: How early do I need to show up at the grange in order to buy tickets at the door?
Answer: Registration opens at 11am. People who have not prepaid for the event will be on the last bus on the tour. Be prepared to wait. Thanks!
