The Sun City Comedy Club NEW Weekend Shows at Maki Sushi Bar Start Off with Headliner Curt Fletcher!
El Paso, TX, April 2011 â" Sun City Comedy, the fastest growing company in the southwest, will be featuring the Sun City Comedy Traveling Club April 14 thru April 16, 2011 at Maki Sushi Bar located at 11680 Pebble Hills in East El Paso, Texas. This stand-up comedy show will feature comedians Manny Vigil, Shawn âS3â Scarbrough, and Headliner Curt Fletcher! The show is hosted by Sam Butler. Show is schedule to start at 8:30pm on Thursday April 14 and 9:30pm Friday April 15 and Saturday April 16 . Thursday Night is Military/Ladies/College with free admission, show tickets are $5.00 at the door or thru www.brownpapertickets.com , 18+ w/ID.
Headliner for this event is Albuquerque based national touring comedian Curt Fletcher. In 2003, Curt won the Great Southwest Laff Off, beating out 21 other comics. In 2007, he beat out national headliners to advance to the semifinals of HBO's Lucky 21 contest. He's also advanced to the semifinals of the New Faces contest at Comedy Works twice. And you can see him at this yearâs Laughing Skull Festival.
âWe are moving forward with more shows as the audience increases in size we too will increase the number of shows, and this comedy club in the same venue as the Backdoor Comedy Club will be the place for Alternative and Indie comedy. â Jose Saad, marketing director for Sun City Comedy, commented. âThe east side of El Paso is growing at an exponential rate, and more and more crowds from this side of town are looking for entertainment close to them, hopefully we can reach this segment of the population and get them some of the entertainment they deserve.â Sun City Comedy, established in 2008, is based out of El Paso, Texas.
