Meridian Dance presents: Odissi Dance with Niharika Mohanty
Join us for a performance and conversation with renowned Indian dancer and teacher Niharika Mohanty on Odissi Indian Dance. She will perform several traditional dances and discuss the history and practice of this beautiful form, including its relationship with visual art, spirituality and eroticism. This performance is part of the current exhibition, "The Prosthetic Temple" with large scale sculptural replicas of the Sun Temple at Konarak by Richard Berger
