Taming the Wayward Tongue
The tongue is an incredibly strong and versatile muscle. For singers, a well-coordinated tongue is essential for clear, nuanced diction and optimal resonance.

Many things can develop chronic tongue tension, including:
Habitual patterns of speech
Faulty vocal technique
Swallowing or eating disorders

In this 90-minute workshop, I will cover basic tongue anatomy and discuss the role of the tongue in singing technique. I will also teach a series of exercises to identify and relieve tongue tension and develop excellent coordination.

This workshop will be limited to 30 participants.

Admission: $18 advance purchase price through Brown Paper Tickets or $25 at the door.
