Taming the Wayward Tongue
The tongue is an incredibly strong and versatile muscle. For singers, a well-coordinated tongue is essential for clear, nuanced diction and optimal resonance.
Many things can develop chronic tongue tension, including: Habitual patterns of speech Faulty vocal technique Swallowing or eating disorders
In this 90-minute workshop, I will cover basic tongue anatomy and discuss the role of the tongue in singing technique. I will also teach a series of exercises to identify and relieve tongue tension and develop excellent coordination.
This workshop will be limited to 30 participants.
