Catch this awesomely talented composer, vocalist, and flutist in this Orange County venue before he moves to Chicago!

On the evening of Saturday, July 14, Trevor Patrick Watkin will be performing a benefit recital entitled âNotes From Home,â featuring the works of living American composers, including rare performances of Cynthia Folioâs âSketches,â Rodney Rogersâ âapril hello,â and Shulamit Ranâs âSonatina for Two Flutesâ (written when the composer was 12) alongside fellow OCUUC flutist Nancy Loughrey.

Other composers represented on the program include Gwyneth Walker, Christopher Rouse, and Robert Muczynski, not to mention brand-new compositions written especially for the concert by Trevor, Christopher Dunn-Rankin, and film composer James A. Schafer.

Additionally, the performance will be professionally recorded, with CDs available for pre-purchase at the event, with a wonderful reception hosted by Pat Robitaille immediately following. Tickets are $20, with half of the proceeds going directly to the church and the other half going toward the purchase of a new flute. Tell your friends and familyâthis is a concert not to be missed.
