THE FAIR RUNS Friday - Sunday with Intensives on MONDAY!
MONDAY INTENSIVES:(Aug. 22) $50
9 - 1PM Terry Willard ClH, PhD, Wild Rose School of Herbal Medicine Medicinal Mushrooms (All Levels) Medicinal Mushrooms are showing us some of our most radical healers. In this workshop, you will be opened to a new world of thought on the fungi kingdom and how they can have beneficial effects on the immune, respiratory, circulatory, endocrine, nervous, digestive and skeletal/muscular systems. We will review some of the substantial scientific literature on medicinal mushrooms. We will also incorporate the folklore, myths, and a little bit of magic of the higher fungi. These medicinal substances are some of the oldest and yes, wisest healers known to humankind. Expect some controversy and some mind-altering ideas. more info at http://www.nwherbalfair.com/terry-willard-monday-intensive/
9 - 1PM Roger Wicke, Rocky Mountain Herbal Institute Biological, Chemical, Electronic, and Sonic Warfare -- Practical Solutions for the Warrior Herbalist. (Advanced Level) EM pollution, cell phones, digital TV, subliminals technology, an increasingly toxic food supply, heavy metals, addictive additives to foods: over the past 30 years, there has been a steady decline in people's cognitive abilities and potential for self-reflection, especially in the US and other industrialized nations. What has taken its place are knee-jerk reactions programmed by the media with assistance from toxic technologies -- what Gurdjieff called the robotic mind. This is the primary reason why people will ignore common-sense diet and lifestyle advice. A radical departure from the old clinical model of health care is required to address these problems. more info at http://www.nwherbalfair.com/roger-wicke-monday-intensive/
