LaundryMagazine and We Do All Events present Growing Works
On May 17th, 2011, LaundryMagazine and We Do All Events will present Growing Works, a runway show featuring collections by Chicago's best new fashion design graduates. This exceptional event will be LaundryMagazine's next step towards supporting emerging designers in Chicago and will provide a great chance for the Chicago creative community to come together for a great cause. Not only will LaundryMagazine support the talented young artists by showing their work in a professional and creative environment, but they have also chosen to align with a wonderful non-profit group, Flashes of Hope. Flashes of Hope is a national nonprofit that has made it their goal to change the way children with cancer see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research. They provide award-winning photographers and stylists for beautiful portrait sessions that help many families find grace and beauty so often missing in a hospital setting.
LaundryMagazine and We Do All Events are thrilled to host Growing Works at the Garfield Park Conservatory on May 17th. LaundryMagazine invites Press, VIP's and Sponsors to explore the Conservatory and meet all of our designers at a very special cocktail hour at 6pm. All fourteen designers will be available for interviews, look-book releases and networking. Passed hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served and open exploration of the conservatory is encouraged. All models are provided by Agency Galatea and music will be provided by Time Out Chicago's Club editor, Joshua Furgeson.
General admission to the Conservatory is at 7pm with the runway show at 8pm. Student/General Admission tickets are $15, reserved seats are $25 and Monet Garden VIP tickets are $125.
