Slow Money NYC Entrepreneur Showcase + Resource Exchange
Inspire. Connect. Invest. Slow Money NYC will feature a varied afternoon program to spark conversations and connections amongst sustainable food and farming entrepreneurs, investors, intermediaries, food activists and interested parties. Slow Money NYC believes we can build a resilient, sustainable economy by increasing our investments in small-scale, sustainable food and farming enterprises in the NY region.
Inspire. The Entrepreneur Showcase aims to inspire participants by presenting a juried selection of 10 sustainable food and farming businesses serving the NYC foodshed. For the aspiring entrepreneur, Slow Money will host a workshop charting steps needed to make your dream enterprise into a real business.

Connect. Throughout the afternoon, the Resource Exchange will connect entrepreneurs to companies providing information, products and support to sustainable food and farming businesses. A variety of exhibitors -- banks, lawyers, consultants, non-profits, government agencies and other organizations -- will highlight services, demonstrate products and distribute information in the Resource Exchange. In the evening, seal your "Slow Deal" at a networking cocktail reception held at nearby watering hole TBA.
Invest. Slow Money hopes to spark a range of investment conversations, helping develop unique funding channels and new financial relationships for sustainable food and farming businesses. Slow Money seeks to attract a wide range of potential funders and investors, galvanizing support for the growth of a restorative, resilient and regional economy.
