Honoring the women, FOTC and its partners, will lead a special Mother's Day program on Sunday, May 8, 2011 starting at 5:30 pm. The program will feature:
- A reception with African singers, musicians and Congolese food
- A special presentation of the play
- A panel discussion of Congolese women
On this special Mother's Day, we will celebrate the courage of the Congolese women and their resilience in overcoming enormous odds as they pursue peace, stability and human dignity.
