$TRIP the play is about a fictional Las Vegas strip club called "The Sunset Lounge". Buck, the owner, has been murdered. Now there is a crime to solve. That's when, "Amanda Cole", a file clerk at the Las Vegas Police Department, goes undercover as "America", the stripper.
$TRIP the play will shock, entertain and make you laugh. It's the first and only play to ever combine live acting and beautiful actresses stripping and pole dancing. Based on true stories, truth is certainly stranger than fiction at the "The Sunset Lounge". Will you be able to solve the murder of Buck, the owner? So many suspects! You'll never see a more fun, exciting and sexy play than $TRIP. It's an experience you won't soon forget.
I found it pretty offensive to charge $25 for this show and then as soon as you've bought your ticket and head to the door, they charge you an additional $10 for your "drink minimum". Include it in the ticket price. It feels very much like you're being taken advantage of and it's truly repulsive. Especially given the quality of the show. The girls all worked very hard on their pole routines and they've done a wonderful job with those, but the script is one of the worst I've ever seen or read (and I've read a lot of really bad crap). If I didn't have friends in the show that I respect and love, I would have walked out within the first 5 minutes. Don't waste your money. If you wanna see a great sexy show, go see Zumanity. Their tickets start at $69 and you can even get a discount if you book online. And no drink minimum.
Umn it's says 2 drink minimum before you buy your ticket so why are you complaining? Maybe you should go see Men of X, that's probably your type of show.
This was a very fun and sexy show. I found it entertaining. If you want to have a good time, I highly recommend it. My wife and I actually enjoyed a play together. How about that.
For the money, I thought it was a pretty good show. It's very intimate. The story was solid and the acting was good, not great. But the women where amazing. I'm coming back just for them. They do have a 2 drink minimum, I had about 5 drinks so I was cool with it. The food was OK. Definitely see the show.
It was only the second show, so I didn't expect perfection. But I had a great time. The pole dancing is AMAZING! The girls are beautiful. It's entertainment not Shakespeare or Neil Simon, so don't expect that. It's just a good ol' time.
Not the greatest show, but quite original. A must see for the price. I was in town from Houston and decided to give it a try since I had some time to kill. I bought a T-shirt to take back home. The ladies where nice to look at.
My boyfriend took me to the show and I liked the fact that the show is about women. Obviously, the guys will like it for the stripping. But there's something for men and women. That's what I liked about it.
This play wont be winning any Tony Awards anytime soon but it's not supposed to. I had a cool time. Venue was small and intimate. The location of the hotel was fine. It's in Downtown Vegas, I felt safe. Recommend if your looking for something to do on a weekday night. Check it out for the ladies.
The person posting that is was such a good show is really george the producer or the main girl, I saw the show it is truly a joke! The so called actors need to go back to there day jobs and the so called stripers in the show need to go back to the strip club where they really work this is a broke show with a bad script, the writer and or producer need to get out of the business. they have no right calling themselves writers or producers. from what i hear the cast is working for free as the producer has no money to pay them. if the cast were in a better show that might have a chance this show will only drag them down.
