How Women Visual Artists Shape the Arts and Contribute to Social Change
The focus of this program is the evolution of women artists over recent decades and their contribution to social change. The featured speaker is Susan Fisher Sterling, Director of the Nation Museum of Women in the Arts, and she will be introduced by Dr. Elizabeth A. Sackler, Chair of the Brooklyn Museum Board. A panel discussion with Harmony Hammond, Rose B. Simpson, and Meridel Rubenstein will follow.
