After putting out one of the best records of 2010 Amy Correia moved back to the Boston area and is about to take the city by storm. An incredible songwriter, powerful singer and charismatic performer, tonight begins what we hope will be one of many shows to come here at The Lizard Lounge in 2011. Joining Amy tonight will be Kimon Kirk on bass and Billy Beard on drums

Kimon Kirk is a bassist, singer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Since moving to LA from Boston in 2009 he has worked with Aimee Mann, Angus and Julia Stone, Brett Dennen, Gaby Moreno, and Kay Hanley. His self-produced debut five-song EP, Eye On You, was released spring of 2009 and he's currently finishing full-length solo album recorded at Paul Kolderie's Camp Street Studios. His fantastic band, The Meds features: Lyle Brewer - electric guitar, Jamie Edwards - keyboards of all kinds, Joe Klompus - bass guitar, Andy Plaisted subbing for the fantastc John Sands - drumset
RY CAVANAUGH from Session Americana along with singer / songwriter and multi instrumentalist sideman JEFFERSON HAMER (Laura Cortese, Anais Mitchell, Aoife O'Donovan)close out the night.
