Part experimental theater. Part rock and roll cabaret. Part mystic mind-expansion. The Radio8Ball Show is a night of live rock and roll divination based upon Andras Jonesâ live divination radio show on KAOS 89.3 FM in Olympia, Washington. The premise for the stage show is as simple as it is unique. Audience members are invited onstage to ask questions of the oracle. Their answers are chosen by spinning a wheel which picks one of the musical artistsâ songs. When the wheel stops the musical act plays the song and then, with the help of âProfessorâ Jones, the answer is interpreted. The readings can be humorous or moving, sometimes both at once. It is a show about synchronicity and itâs very hard to experience it without getting a sense that there is more magic and intelligence at work in the world than we generally credit.

This monthâs musical guest is Seattleâs own pop godfather Jon Auer of Posies and Big Star fame. Jon will contribute his music and stage presence as oracle fodder for this monthâs installment of The Radio8Ball Show.
The show is $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
