Stuck Elevator is based on the story of the Chinese food deliveryman who was trapped in an elevator in the Bronx for three days. He was working at Happy Dragon Chinese restaurant, trying to make enough money to pay off a $60,000 debt to the people who smuggled him into this country, and to bring his wife and son to America.
This solo performance opera directed by Tom Milewski with music direction by Julia Tai, stars Xike Xin.
