Nature Photography Camps
Jul 9-13 & Aug 6-10 Ages 11-14 9AM - 3PM (no evenings/overnights)
Tuition: $250 per week
Photography Camp combines natural history interpretation with photographic technique and is designed for beginner to intermediate photographers. Field sessions and lectures will cover the use of light, composition, landscape photography, close-ups, and how to find the "right" picture.
This is your chance to capture the wonder of sunrise, sunset, wildflowers, wildlife, and lavish landscapes! An emphasis will be placed on digital photography. Use your own camera or borrow one of ours!
Sample Schedule Monday: Digital Camera Essentials @ Seward Park Tuesday: Elements of Art @ Kubota Gardens Wednesday: Principles of Design & Wildlife Photography @ Woodland Park Zoo Thursday: Macro-photography @ Volunteer Park & Conservatory Friday: Peer Reviews and final day @ Seward Park.
Camp Fees All camps are $250/week. A deposit of $25/camp is due at the time of registration.
Scholarships & Discounts We offer many generous full and partial scholarships are available for those who qualify. Scholarship applications are included with our regular registration form. Please fill out this section of the form if you would like to apply for a scholarship. Deposits are required at the time of registration on Brown Paper Tickets even if you are applying for a scholarship.
