Respected and emulated, producer, DJ, and label chief Osunlade got his start working in recording studios with such pop luminaries as Musiq, Patti LaBelle, Najee, India Arie and Eric Benet. In 1999, Osunlade established the Yoruba label and began releasing deep house productions of his own while remixing and producing such artists as Roy Ayers, Jazzy Jeff, Masters at Work, Zero7 and Radiohead. Easily one of the most gifted producers of soul/funk-influenced deep house, Osunlade, â an ordained priest in the African religion of Ifa â graces everything he touches with spiritual, uplifting vibes.
