Linda Peterson CD release party of the long awaited compilation of her original tunes, encompassing recordings from Copenhagen to Buenos Aires. This new CD is entitled, "You Gotta Be Somewhere" so come celebrate with Linda and the Peterson Family at the Icehouse, Minneapolis, August 16, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm.
$10 cover, champagne, cake and CD with each paid entry, full bar and menu available as well.
LINDA PETERSON is an international recording artist, song writer, pianist and vocalist. She has appeared at the Copenhagen jazz festival several times and will perform there again July 3, 2015. She also performs with her family, the Petersons, first family of jazz in the Twin Cities, at venues both national and international, including the Jazz Bakery, Los Angeles, and the Leverkusen Jazz Festival in Germany.
Linda has five CDs to her credit, two of which were recorded in Copenhagen, Denmark and the most recent CD, recorded in Buenos Aires with famed Argentine guitarist, Luis Salinas. A new CD of Linda's original compositions will be released in the summer of 2015, entitled "You Gotta Be Somewhere". Release party will take place at the Icehouse, Minneapolis on August 16, 2015.
Linda lives and works in Palm Springs, California during season and travels to Florida, Minnesota, Europe and South America to work during the summer months.
