George Galloway Goes to WBAI
Lecture and Reception with George Galloway and Rick Wolff

WBAI 99.5FM-NY presents a powerful evening of politics and economics with Scottish Politico George Galloway and Progressive Economist Richard D. Wolff at the New York Society for Ethical Culture on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 7-10pm. The event includes a reception following the Mr. Galloway's presentation where some of WBAI's listeners and guests will have the opportunity meet and chat with the two.

About George Galloway:
The New York Times called Galloway, 'a gifted orator with a flair for the verbal showdown,' Fox News called him a 'loudmouth Scot,' and the crumbling Egyptian regime deemed a persona non grata, and threw out of the country. Mr. Galloway was brave enough to stand up to the U.S. senate against the invasion of Iraq. This talk will pick up where that talk left off, as he deconstructs the current American administration and the crises in North Africa. Galloway is an expert on Egypt.

About Rick Wolf:
Richard D. Wolff is the Professor of Economics Emeritus, at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is currently a Visiting Professor in the Graduate Program in International Affairs of the New School University.  Wolff has spent his career deconstructing and calling for an end to the corrupt Capitalist System of economics and predicted much of the pandemonium surrounding the current economic crash.

Reception:
Premium tickets will include a post-lecture reception with George Galloway and Rick Wolff.

Ticket Options:
Single Ticket Reserved Seating - $35.00
Pair Ticket Reserved Seating - $50.00
