The Show Will Go On: John Keister & Friends
Join us for a night of uproarious comedy with the legendary comedian John Keister & Friends, "Making you laugh one joke at a time!"
John Keister is best known as the host of the iconic Seattle television show Almost Live. During Almost Live's run on KING TV and Comedy Central, Keister received ten Emmy Awards from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences for writing and performing. His work has appeared on HBO, Fox, The Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and PBS. He recently appeared with Zach Galifianakis in the film Visoneers. Currently Keister is the head writer for BizKids, which appears on over 300 Public Broadcasting markets in the United States. A lifelong Seattle resident, Keister graduated from the University of Washington and teaches scriptwriting at the Art Institute of Seattle. In 1989 he scored one point against the Harlem Globetrotters.
The show will be held at the Rainier Valley Cultural Center (3515 Alaska @ Rainier), a beautiful 250-seat venue right across the street from the Cinema.
Doors open at 7:00pm, show start at 7:30pm.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $18 at the door.
