Second Sunday Concert Series - Windsong Trio featuring Catherine Laub, soprano, Rita Attrot, piano and Julie Begg, clarinet
Please note that there has been a change in the program for this concert, François Houle and Jane Hayes will no longer be able to perform at this event. We are fortunate enough to now be featuring the Windsong Trio.

On June 14th WindSong Trio breezes their way into your hearts with a Victorian Garden inspired program featuring music by Thomas Arne, Vaughn Williams, Percy Grainger, Edward MacDowell, Reynaldo Hahn and Paul Reade. There will be familiar tunes and new favourites to delight your ears on this afternoon in June.

In 2006, soprano Catherine Laub moved to Vancouver from New York and has since become an integral part of the cityʼs musical life as a performer, educator, composer, conductor, and arts administrator. Catherine completed a BM in voice at Indiana University in 2001 and an MM at Westminster Choir College in 2003, both with distinction. She regularly appears as a featured soloist with choirs, orchestras, and concert series Canada wide. Catherine was a member of the Juno nominated Vancouver Chamber Choir and a founding member of Erato Ensemble. She maintains a private voice studio in Burnaby and is an active member of NATS, the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Catherine composes and arranges for a variety of forces. Head of the Piano Department at the B.C. Conservatory of Music. She is also a member of the piano faculty at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School.

Clarinetist Julie Begg is a graduate and Fellow of Trinity College of Music, London.
