The Jacksonville Roller Girls are holding a WFTDA Referee and NSO Workshop.

March 12th and 13th

This workshop is focused to help us set the bar high for derby in the South East. Our guests and speakers will be Miss Nomer, who is from Slaughter County Roller Vixens and is a level 1 WFTDA certified NSO, and Curtis E. Lay, who is from Rat City Roller Girls and is a level 2 WFTDA certified Ref. They will be sharing their knowledge and experience with us so we can benefit from it.

Miss Nomer and Curtis are coming here and taking time from their busy schedules in order to help us out. They are not getting paid to do this workshop! I am asking everyone that attends to pay $30. This is small amount and an excellent deal for a workshop! If you look at the cost of boot camps and seminars, you will see this costs us barely anything! Plus, there will be lunch on the 12th.

Topics will be focused on tools to help your league organize a smooth and productive Referee and NSO experience before, during, and after a bout.

There will also be a WFTDA rules test and WFTDA skating referee test to help become closer to becoming WFTDA certified NSOs and Referees!

It is a great opportunity to better yourself, your league, and derby in Florida! This isn't just business, but will also be a fun time as well!

Saturday, March 12th

830am-Registration.
9am-Begin!
12pm-Lunch provided
1pm-More derby stuff!
5pm- the end
Break for dinner
7pm- Rules test back at hotel Aloft.

Sunday, March 13th

10am -12pm - Referee skate test at the Mandarin Skate Station
5pm-Bout!! <-- doors open 6:30 and bout starts at 7pm
After bout, do a quick debrief of what we think went well and what we can work on
AFTER PARTY!!!!
