Global Leadership Series: Meeting the Cybersecurity Challenge
Considering the Wikileaks scandal and reports of cyberattacks used by governments in Russia, China, and Israel, what are the real implications of cyberwar or cyberterrorism? In the U.S., what is being done to collaborate across the public and private sectors to create a secure cyber environment? On a global level, how are multinational agencies collaborating in order to insure international security?
The World Affairs Council presents General Michael V. Hayden as a part of our 2010-2011 Global Leadership Series. As the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the country's first Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence and the former Director of the National Security Agency (NSA), General Hayden will discuss what is being done to protect American military, government, and private-sector targets from cyber attacks and what must be done to ensure our national and international cybersecurity moving forward.
