Throughout history, storytelling has served as a platform to educate, to entertain, and to enrich community. It's practically in our DNA to appreciate a good story. And today, a little bit of storytelling in our lives is more important than ever: It's one of the few opportunities to disconnect from our overly digital lives, sit with others, laugh and cry, and feel united, inspired and more empathetic with the people around us. Caffe Lena and Saratoga Wire have joined forces to create an evening of storytelling inspired by NPR's popular program The Moth Radio Hour, which features true stories. Auditions were held by Story Theater and a few of the best were selected to present their personal true tale on the Caffe Lena stage. (Performers TBA. Stay tuned!)
