The Sound of Music
The Sound of Music is based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family in Austria during the rise of Nazi power. Maria is a young nun who is sent to be a governess for the seven children of Captain Georg Von Trapp. The Captain runs his family with military precision and his children respond with proper respect. However, left alone with Maria, the children become unruly and very mischievous. Maria is slowly able to win them over with love and patience. Eventually, Maria and the Captain fall in love and are married. As the Nazis invade Austria, the whole family flees over the Alps to Switzerland.
