Benefit for a Brighter Future 2011
Please join us on May 6, 2011 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for the 2011 Benefit for a Brighter Future, RCEF's premiere fundraising event. We are fortunate each year to welcome an ever-growing number of Redwood City's top educators, community members, and business leaders for an evening of information, enjoyment, and opportunity.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, every dollar we raise at this event goes directly toward providing our children with the education they need to succeed.

Our funding supports music instruction for students in grades 2 through 8, Outdoor Education for 5th graders, SMART teaching innovation grants, the middle school Summer Math Institute, and Wellness programs for all students.

- Enjoy live music by Woodside High School's Jazz Band
- Featuring a hosted bar and abundant appetizers
- See sharks in a tank and SMART grants at work
- Applaud our award winners and student alumni
- Give during Fund-a-Need
- Wrap up the evening with coffee and beverages

We will not have a seated dinner or table purchases this year. Last year our guests told us they wanted more time to mingle and nibble delicious appetizers before the program begins, with theater style seating.

Our Benefit Evening:
- 5:30 to 7:30 Reception
- 7:30 to 8:30 Program
- 8:30 to 9:00 Dessert

Tickets are $85 per person.  RCSD Teacher and Staff tickets are $50.

Please come, we need your support and want your company!

Key RCEF fact:
- Serves 9,200 students
- Contributed $150,000 in SMART grants to date
- Contributed $250,000 for music education in 2010/11
