30th International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami - BR-TRANS (from Brazil)
BR-TRANS
Addressing the importance of family, school, religion, politics and art to the transgender community, the play depicts the lives of transgender and cross-dressing people through documentary theatre. BR-TRANS is about facts, about reality, and features a "trans-Brazil" character fashioned from the convergence of and displacement between northeastern and southern Brazil.
In Portuguese with Spanish supertitles.

Obra sobre la importancia de la familia, la escuela, la religión, la política y el arte a la comunidad transgénero. Muestra la vida de personas trangénero y travestis mediante el teatro documental. Br-Trans se trata de hechos,de realidades, y lo protagoniza un personaje "trans Brasil", creado de la convergencia y desplazamiento entre el noreste y el sur del país.
