Alexa Fraser-Herron pitched Eat Pray Whatever her first time out in Round 7. Despite being new to Scary Cow and unknown to virtually all of it's members at the time, she rallied a small crew and won budget with the short when it debuted at the Castro Theatre. She's kept busy ever since, helming her own projects as well as lending support to many award winning productions within Scary Cow. With a background in fine art and critique, Alexa brings a unique perspective to filmmaking and its myriad processes along with a warm and humorous approach in aiding Scary Cow members to make their films, and be scary.
Alexa holds a BFA in Interdisciplinary Fine Art from the San Francisco Art Institute (Fred Ritzenberg's alma mater!) and bears an invisible certificate of awesomeness from Kerri Kuchta and Jager McConnell.
