a togethercoloured instant
The world premiere for a together-coloured instant, a song cycle by American composer Timothy Buckman and presented by mezzo soprano Gina Razon. The six movements of a togethercoloured instant set the poetry of Emily Dickinson and e.e. cummings to the lush texture of Mr. Buckman's composition. Exploring the nature of love, discovery, and sensuality, Ms. Razón is accompanied by a chamber ensemble of flute, oboe, violin, viola, cello and double guitar.
