The Real Sf Tour May,- Aug , 2011
Part urban adventure, part urban trek, the Real SF Tour guides you through enchanted gardens, glorious rooftop views, secret stairways, and some of the city's coolest neighborhoods. You'll be avoiding large crowds of tourists while experiencing the real culture of SF and learning about its rich and storied history.

You'll traverse the city on Cable Cars, Light Rail, and City Buses. These vehicles are zero emissions or run on biodiesel, making this tour totally green. Muni is GPS equipped so you'll spend more time exploring the city instead of waiting for those huge crowds to get on and off a tour bus.

Question: Really not appropriate for a well-traveled 12 year old?
Answer: This tour is an excellent choice for a well traveled 12 year old. Our concern is with children under 7 and particularly strollers. Because we sometimes have to hustle for buses it makes it almost impossible for very young children. We have had plenty of kids on the tour who have enjoyed it immensly. Hope that helps.
 
Question: Does Chris lead all tours? What is the max number of people on the tour
Answer: The max # on any tour is 10 people. Chris is not the only one leading tours anymore. We will be updating the site soon to reflect the awesome people who guide our tours. It is really the route and the mode of transport that makes this tour so awesome and all guides are personally trained and screened very carefully by Chris and so far Adam our second guide is rocking it very day!!!
