"Women in Blues" with Alice Stuart & Anne Weiss
Women in Blues features Pacific Northwest favorite blues artists, Alice Stuart and Anne Weiss. Alice's folk, rock and blues roots have forged the way for Bonnie Raitt and others. Hailing from Lake Chelan, Washington, Alice is a frequent performer on Seattle area stages with her band "Alice Stuart and the Formerlys." She'll be bringing along her soulful voice and dynamic guitar work. Hailing from Portland, Oregon is Anne Weiss with her bluesy voice, great guitar chops, poetic lyrics, and stage presence. Anne has performed with Dar Williams, Taj Mahal, Shawn Colvin and many others. Willamette Week has referred to Anne as a "bluesfunksoulguitargoddess." On separate occasions, each of these performs has graced the West Side Theatre's stage. We are delighted to be presenting them together for an evening celebrating women in blues.
Seating is cabaret style (table and chairs). About six chairs per table.
Events will typically have a two-tiered ticketing scheme: Reserved Seating and General Admission.
This higher priced ticket guarantees a seat in the rows closer to the stage. Additionally, the seat is held (reserved) until the ticket holder arrives. As orders are placed, we manually assign best available seating on a first come, first saved basis. Adjusting for singles, couples, larger parties as necessary. About six people can sit comfortably at a table. Specific table or area seating requests will be considered and accommodated as best as possible. For better service, requests such as this should be relayed to us well in advance of the show. Please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
These tickets sell for a few dollars less than Reserved Seating. Seating in this section is on a first come, first served basis when the doors open one hour before the show starts. General Admission ticket holders may occupy any available seat in their section.
