SLOW U - The Farm Bill and You

Moore Brothers Wine Company
New York, NY

ONLY if you eat should you care about the Farm Bill!
Our national "farm and food policies..do not..cover all of our nation's farmers, nor do they provide accessible, healthy foods for many Americans.." - The Farm and Food Policy Project(www.farmandfoodproject.org)
Join Nutrition Consultant and Farm Bill expert Fern Gale Estrow as she explains the Farm Bill and how you can help make it support the "Good, Clean, and Fair" food chain that is the mission of Slow Food USA!
And after you have pondered the Farm Bill with Fern, Slow Food member, the redoubtable Greg Moore of the Moore Bros. Wine Company, will lead you through a tasting of his carefully selected, artisan-made, estate-bottled wines.  Greg's selections will be accompanied by a selection of American artisan and farmstead cheeses assembled by Anne Saxelby of Saxelby Cheesemongers.

Note: Learn about the 2007 Farm Bill and enjoy Greg Moore's selection of extraordinary, artisan-made, estate-bottled wines accompanied by farmstead American cheeses assembled by Anne Saxelby of Saxelby Cheesemongers.
