Get Upright on Bluegrass Bass -- Kenny Feinstein

Swedish American Hall
San Francisco, CA

A run through of the basics on the instrument in the bluegrass style. Beginning bass runs, how to play but not over play. We will keep it simple!

Kenny Feinstein has recently emerged from the highly respected School of Music at the University of Oregon, receiving his degree in Jazz performance on the guitar with high honors. Aside from having a deep understanding of music theory Kenny has a natural love of playing and teaching music. Kenny is a student and teacher of mandolin, banjo, harmonica, bass, dulcimer, and fiddle, and as a result he is skilled at old-time, bluegrass, country, folk, Cajun, jazz and blues. If you are lucky you can catch him playing guitar for the Foghorn Stringband or playing bass for The Crooked Jades.
