The Friends of the Historical Museum and the Old Idaho Penitentiary is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the appreciation of Idaho history through educational programs and preservation of historical collections by developing and performing fun-raising projects and service activities in support and for the benefit of the Idaho State Historical Museum. All proceeds from "Gatsby and Gangsters" fund the Ray Knight Scholarship Fund which awards money for admissions and transportation to schools throughout Southern Idaho for a field trip to the Old Idaho Penitentiary and State Capitol. $3,450 were funded this spring.
