Much Love

Lead by vocalist/electric guitarist Michael Creaton, "Much Love" blends funk, rock and reggae for a sound comparable to Michael Franti and Spearhead. Musicians include Ben Aiken on bass, Michael Ingher on drums, Phil Davies on the Keys, Houston Rawls on Tenor Saxophone, and Matt Price on Trombone. When Creaton performs solo, or in an acoustic duo or trio, the sound and feeling is reminiscent of Jack Johnson. At the Venue "Much Love" will be an acoustic duo consisting of Matt Creaton on guitar and Houston Rawls on saxophone. Creaton plays ukulele and harmonica as well.

"Much Love" is based in Austin Texas, a city known for live music and the famous SXSW Annual Music Festival. The band formed in 2005, inspired by the classic sounds of Motown, Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, Santana, James Brown, and the like. In 2008 Much Love released their self-made album "Where We Start", and have just finished their sophomore album, self-titled, "Much Love."
