Tour de Cluck: Bicycle Chicken Coop Crawl

Tour de Cluck is a fowl-frolicking, fantastic fundraising bike tour offering the curious chicks among us an opportunity to tour some of the most interesting Davis backyard chicken coops. More than 800 participants will pedal their way throughout Davis to visit 13 different neighborhood sites and learn from homeowners about the feathered friends they raise and care for in their own backyards.

Kickoff festivities will begin at our downtown Central Park Plaza outside the U.S. Bicycle Hall of Fame:

9am-10am

For out-of-town visitors:

"Get Onboard" with Capitol Corridor's "Take 5" and "Bak2Sac" programs. With one full adult fare, up to 5 additional companions can get on board for $5 per person each way. About Davis Farm to School
The proceeds of Tour de Cluck benefit Davis Farm to School, a program of Yolo Farm to Fork. The mission of Davis Farm to School is to create an educational and cultural environment in the schools that connects food choices with personal health, community, farms and the land. The organization is partnered with and supports the Davis Joint Unified School District in the goals of providing farm and garden-based education, increasing farm fresh foods in school meals, and reducing solid waste through recycling and composting programs. www.davisfarmtoschool.org, www.yolofarmtofork.org

Bring your Brown Paper Ticket receipt to exchange for the Tour de Cluck punch-out ticket and map on the greens at Central Park. Be sure to claim your ticket and map between 8:30 am - 12:00 pm.
