Mystic Circus

Did you miss their first show in town? Well, they are coming back with a few more performers, and we are installing an aerial rig so they can perform in the air.

The Mystic Circus is a show you really have to see to believe. It shows at 8:30 pm, (doors open at 8 pm) for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Synthetic Unlimited Opera House at 120 Joerschke Drive in Grass Valley, CA. Tickets available at the door.

The Circus has core cast of 5 outstanding performers: Rush Hicks who not only is the charismatic host, but also a renowned sword swallower and contortionist. Marissa Melon is a daring and captivating aerialist. Natalie Bell is a shocking clown/ performance artist. Tabitha Kelley is a graceful, mind blowing flow artist and juggler. Candy Bandit is a sensual, vivacious burlesque dancer. Aside from the core, Mystic Circus also has a dynamic cast of local and international performers that rotate in and out of the show.

Rush Hicks founded the show in 2012 in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. He started performing with The Coney Island Sideshow which is where he first discovered his love of circus. After two seasons with them, he soon found himself creating his own little show. Originally just a two man crew performing in dive bars, the circus has evolved at a breakneck pace over these last two years. Along with dark and gritty humor, it now incorporates a dazzling array of burlesque, circus arts, sideshow and performance arts. There certainly is something for every audience member to enjoy, whether they're laughing at the countless raunchy jokes or gasping in horror when Rush performs some of his signature contortion acts.
