Back by popular demand, the Cafe Scientifique Theory Slam is your chance
to take the stage and to present your own theory scientific or not! Think
that lint arises from spontaneous generation in the belly button? Do you
have a way to test that theory? Competitors will each have three minutes
to present their data to audience judges. A panel of science experts will
be on hand to discuss the plausibility and creativity of these odd and
often hilarious theories, as well as how the process of scientific
research helps us to understand the world.
