Mark Hertsgaard: How to Survive Climate Change

Town Hall Seattle
Seattle, WA

Having investigated climate change for 20 years, reporter Mark Hertsgaard has no doubt that global warming has arrived. And now that he has a daughter, his focus has shifted to activism and survival.  Hertsgaard, author of Hot, explains what we can expect in the next 50 years (a Chicago climate resembling Houston's, the loss of California wines) and the creative precautions we can take now to live through it all. Presented by The Town Hall Center for Civic Life, in association with Grist Magazine and University Bookstore. Series media sponsorship provided by PubliCola. Series supported by The Boeing Company Charitable Trust and the RealNetworks Foundation.
