2015 KICA for Christ One-Day Conference
The 2015 KICA for Christ One-Day Conference on Saturday, April 18, will be held on the KWU campus Kansas Wesleyan University.
This conference is for students, campus ministers and other support staff from the 18 KICA member institutions, listed below.
Here are general details about the day:
This year's theme is "Rivalry" -- laying down our differences and focusing on the body of Christ.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.; Kick-off at noon
Cost is $20 per student; Campus Ministers and staff attend free with I.D.
Keynote speaker: Andy Addis, senior pastor of Hutchinson, KS-based CrossPoint Church, a multi-site church with facilities across Kansas (featured in this year's Outreach Magazine for "100 Largest & Fastest Growing Churches in America") - satellites are located in Concordia, Hays, Great Bend, Kingman, Manhattan, Plevna, Salina, Sterling, UIysses and Wakeeney
WORKSHOPS: In addition to the main sessions, there will be a variety of great workshops led by KICA campus ministers, with the goal of inspiring and challenging students to live a life-for-Christ on their campuses and beyond. Details to come.

Early Afternoon Session - 11:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m.
11:30 a.m. - Conference Registration
12:00 p.m. - Kick-off Session in Sams Chapel, The Hall of the Pioneers

- Presidential Welcome (KICA, KWU presidents)

- Vision Casting (Cameron Jackson)
1:30 p.m. - 15-min. Break
Late Afternoon Session - 1:45-4:30 p.m.
1:45 p.m. - Continue Session in Sams Chapel, The Hall of the Pioneers
2:45-3:30 p.m. - WORKSHOP SESSION 1 (choose from 4) - topics, locations TBA
3:45-4:30 p.m. - WORSHOP SESSION 2 (choose from 4) - topics, locations TBA
Late Dinner Break - 4:30-6 p.m. (off campus, on your own)
Evening Session - 6-9:30 p.m.
6-6:30 p.m. - Ice Cream Social
7-9:30 p.m. - Main Evening Session

- Media presentation
