BRIDGE OF ALOHA
Saturday May 30, 2015 Northwest Hawaii Ohana presents their 4th annual Bridge of Aloha Festival, at the Ferndale Event Center from 10:00 am 9:00 pm.
The "Bridge of Aloha" festival focused on honoring the Hawaiian culture from afar, is all about connecting the bridge with other cultural groups in the Pacific Northwest.
An all day celebration of live entertainment of Hawaiian Music and Polynesian dance, groups traveling from afar from Washington and Canada. This year featured performer from Hawaii, multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award winner, Nathan Aweau. Raffle drawings throughout the day, activities for the Keiki (Children) along with Arts & Crafts vendor booths and Ono Hawaii Kine Food!!. Cultural Workshops: Hula for all ages, fresh Plumeria Lei Making, Ukulele, Slack Key and Tahitian workshops. A fun filled cultural celebration for the entire family.
Northwest Hawai'i 'Ohana is a 501 c(4) non-profit organization who is about sharing the Aloha Spirit in the Northern Region of Washington State, in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. Their mission is to preserve, honor and perpetuate the unique blend of cultures found throughout the Hawaiian Islands
