Fierce Funk Master Class with Pepper Von
Fierce Funk is a new, exciting dance-fitness program founded by Pepper Von, one of the most respected and creative dance-fitness practitioners. Pepper Von's Fierce FUNK creation combines a street style funk movement with a contemporary hip-hop feel, for an inspiring, fun and complete workout. His vision is for instructors to bring a sense of fun, empowerment, passion, energy and a philosophy of love toward others to their classes through dance and fitness movements to energizing music. The Fierce Funk culture is not just fitness and dance, it is a moving energy intended to refresh the spirit with fun, fullfillment and love so Fierce Funk participants are more healthy and happy.
Pepper Von is a national and international fitness educator, motivational speaker and co-owner of Step I Dance & Fitness in Sacramento, California. He is one of the top presenters for the International Sports Medicine Association. Pepper is founder of the World Aerobic Kickboxing Association International as well as a featured presenter for the California Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. As part of his professional fitness career, he has starred in more than ten fitness videos. As a Zumba Education Specialist (ZES), Pepper is one of the most sought-after presenters today. He has been performing on stage and screen for many years.
Pepper was a featured co-host on the award-winning ESPN Fitness Pros. His numerous credits include appearances on NBC's Extra, MTV, NBC Television Emmy Awards, Fox's Say No to Drugs/Kids Reaching Out and the CW. Pepper has also appeared in the Cake music video No Phone. He is founder of the Hip Hop competition category of the AAU, judge for JAMZ (the National Dance and Cheer Championship) and has judged the scholarship awards for the Public Education Dance Alliance. Pepper is also a judge for the Sacramento Ballet's Capital Choreography Competition and trainer/master choreographer for world class professional fitness athletes. He has appeared with several celebrities including music sensation Wycliffe Jean, Gregory Hines, Billy Blanks, Bill Belamy and Sinbad. He is mentor and inspiration for the world-renowned Jabbawockeez.
